Dear all,

Winter starts tomorrow and we are all tired and looking forward to the end of the term. More than in any other time of the year we need vitamines and SPELTA offers them to you now in the form of seminars and conference.

1) 13-14 December. 1 p.m.- 5 p.m.Mayakovsky Library. Fontanka 46. Two days highly interactive seminar on Academic writing. Experts from Samara and Moscow will show how to tune into publishing abroad and teach your students and postgraduates. It is a must for university teachers and a good opportuity for school teachers and postgraduates! Includes individual consultancy. Bring your drafts, abstracts, articles! 2) 15-16 December. from 2 p/m/ onwards in  FInek Faculty of Humanities. Moskatelny 4. SPELTA conference The Open World of English which immediately follows. There is necessary registration by e-mail by e-mail. please register asap! To register, please send an e-mail to this address or julia-geller@yandex.ru in Russian, please give your name, your patronimic and your affiliation. If you are currently not working, please put free-lance. Also, please, write whether you apply for the seminar, for the conference or for both. There will be a symbolic organizational fee to maintain materials copying and coffee-breaks.
One important part of the conference is POSTER PRESENTATIONS CONTEST -open for everyone! Encourage your master and postgraduate students.

С.А.Сучкова является одним из авторов учебника English for Academics, недавно вышедшем из печати в издательстве Кембридж Юниверсити Пресс.
Джен Стэнбери - высококлассный специалист по преподаванию английского языка, гражданка Британии, давно работает в России.
